Renato Mondele Growing up in the Democratic Republic of Congo Renato becameassociated with the addictive music of Soukous. Renato joined theMonde, O.B.G, and Shaka Zulu, Big Stars, recorded three albums withGeneral Dafao and toured extensively - Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Cameroon,Central republic of Africa, Angola, and Zambia to name a few. Sincegoing solo, he has performed with the likes of Kanda Bongo man duringhis UK tour, and appeared in Glastonbury, on the One World Stage atthe Eden festival - Live 8, Womad in las Palmas and at the Readingfestival and Jools Holland show. In 2000, Renato formed Big Stoneperforming at the Festival Hall, London, British Museum - BlackHistory month, Africa Centre.
